Terms and Conditions – Italian Tech Week 2025

General Terms and Conditions of Contract


1. Subject Matter

These General Terms and Conditions of Contract (GTC) govern your participation in the event Italian Tech Week 2025 (hereinafter referred to as “ITW” and/or “Event”), organized by Vento S.r.l., VAT no. 13162630019, which will be held in Turin at OGR from October 1st to October 3rd.


2. Definitions

The following definitions apply to these GTC, with the understanding that plural definitions apply to the singular and vice versa:

  • Application “Event App” or APP: means the mobile application downloadable for free from Apple Store and Google Play, relating to ITW, which allows registration for the event, appointment booking with other participants, and downloading of Entry Ticket.
  • Consumer Code: refers to Legislative Decree September 6, 2005, no. 206.
  • Consumer: means the Client who acts for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, artisanal, or professional activity.
  • Service Contract: refers to the contract concluded between Vento and the Client for the provision of Vento Services, governed by these GTC and the information provided on the Website, also pursuant to Articles 49 et seq. of the Consumer Code.
  • Client: means the person who downloads the Entry Ticket remotely – via the Website and/or the Lu.ma ticketing service.
  • Event: means the Italian Tech Week 2025 event to be held in Turin from October 1st to 3rd, 2025.
  • Organizer: means the organizing entity of the Event, Vento S.r.l.
  • Ticket Holder: means the person who legally holds an Entry Ticket in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions.
  • Website: means the website www.italiantechweek.com, owned and operated by Vento S.r.l.

  • Entry Ticket: means the document, including in digital format, issued by Vento that entitles the Ticket Holder to access the Event.
  • Vento Services: means the services provided by Vento in connection with the Event.

3. Scope of Application

3.1 Client registration for the Event via the Website and/or App constitutes a distance contract governed by Title III, Chapter I (Articles 45 et seq.) of the Consumer Code and Legislative Decree April 9, 2003, no. 70, which governs e-commerce.

3.2 These GTC may be amended at any time. Changes will be effective from their publication on the Website in the "Terms and Conditions of Purchase" section in the website footer. Users are invited to check the latest version before registering.

3.3 The applicable GTC are those in force at the time of downloading the Entry Ticket. Before concluding the contract, the user must read all the information provided by Vento on the Website and approve the GTC by checking the appropriate box during registration.

3.4 These GTC do not govern the sale of products/services by third parties linked via banners or hyperlinks. Vento is not responsible for the provision of such services or content.


4. Registration on the Website

4.1 Entry Ticket purchases require prior registration and are open to both Consumers and non-Consumers.

4.2 Vento reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations in certain cases, such as legal disputes, past violations of GTC, credit card fraud, or provision of false or third-party data.


5. Registration for the Event

5.1 Registration is free, except for certain events and ticket types explicitly communicated by Vento. Registration requires completion of a form with personal data and an email address.

It is strictly prohibited to use false or third-party data.

5.2 The user guarantees the truthfulness and ownership of the personal data and agrees to hold Vento harmless from any damages resulting from violations of these guarantees.


6. Information on Contract Conclusion

6.1 Pursuant to Legislative Decree April 9, 2003, no. 70, Vento informs the user that:

  1. To register for an Entry Ticket, the user must fill out an online form and submit it electronically.
  2. The contract is concluded when the order reaches Vento’s server.
  3. Upon order registration, Vento will send a confirmation email with a summary of the contract terms and a link to the GTC.
  4. The order form is stored by Vento for the necessary time and legal duration.

7. Entry Ticket Price

The Event is free of charge, except for specific events and ticket types whose costs will be announced in advance on the Website and App.


8. Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal

8.1 The Client has no right of withdrawal, as the contract concerns leisure services provided on a specific date (Art. 59, paragraph 1, letter n of the Consumer Code).


9. Ticket Discrepancies

9.1 In case of ticket discrepancies, the Client may contact Vento at this email info@italiantechweek.com


10. Entry Tickets and Event Access

10.1 A valid Entry Ticket is required for access to the Event venue. All Ticket Holders are subject to these GTC and Event regulations.

10.2 The Entry Ticket grants access only to the specific event, date, and time indicated. The Organizer may deny access for irregularities or security reasons. Tickets obtained unlawfully may lead to denied entry or removal.

10.3 Vento may cancel tickets or registrations due to technical/organizational reasons or upon request from the Organizer or public authorities.

10.4 Name changes for paid Entry Tickets must be requested via email at info@italiantechweek.com no later than 14 days before the event.

The request must include:

  • The original ticket holder’s full name and order number
  • The new attendee’s full name, company, and email address

Once the name change is confirmed, the new attendee will receive an updated ticket via email.

No name changes will be processed after the 14-day deadline.


11. Event Postponement or Cancellation

11.1 In case of postponement or cancellation, Vento will inform Clients of any refund or ticket replacement procedures. Clients are responsible for staying updated.


12. Vento Liability Limitations and Indemnity

12.1 Except in cases of fraud or gross negligence, Vento is not liable for direct or indirect damages related to Event participation.

12.2 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Vento harmless from liabilities and costs arising from any conduct or breach of these clauses impacting third parties.


13. Privacy

Vento is committed to protecting users' data privacy and security. All collected personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.

14. Prohibitions

14.1 Entry Tickets may not be resold for profit without the Organizer’s consent or in violation of transfer restrictions.

14.2 Tickets may not be used as prizes in promotional or prize activities without prior written authorization from Vento or the Organizer. Clients agree not to misuse tickets and to indemnify Vento from any resulting damages.

14.3 All content from the Event is the exclusive property of Vento or its affiliates or rights holders.

14.4 Participants may not commercially exploit Event content, intellectual property, or trademarks.


15. Support and Complaints

15.1 For questions or complaints, contact Vento’s customer service:

15.2 Vento will respond to complaints via email within the time limits outlined above.


16. Promotions Terms & Conditions

16.1 Any promotions or discounts on premium tickets, if offered, will be subject to specific terms and conditions that will be announced at the time of the promotion.

16.2 These terms will be clearly communicated on our official website and/or through official marketing channels.


17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

17.1 The Contract is governed by Italian law. Consumers residing outside Italy are entitled to protections under their local laws if more favorable.

17.2 For Consumer disputes regarding these GTC or the Contract, jurisdiction lies with the court where the Consumer resides or has chosen domicile.
